What a technology family

Here we are on a Friday night, Bobby, Jaclyn and me sitting in the bed, each with a laptop "im"ing each other right next to each other. I used my laptop to take the picture with photo booth.

I think I have a skewed viewpoint on the level of technology integration in families. We have four wireless laptops and two wireless desktops and two wired desktops in our home. The favorite family Saturday morning activity is to do what we are doing right now, drink our morning coffee and read the local newspaper, original hometown newspapers online, check our mail and as I used to as a kid: "look in the wish book" (aka Sears and Roebuck catalog) but now known as anything you can access on the internet. We even use the internet to look up what is on television.

Wonder what that says about us?
