A National Educational Technology Plan

We have until 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 12 to give input to the National Educational Technology Plan that is being developed. The U.S. Department of Education is developing a new National Educational Technology Plan to provide a vision for how information and communication technologies can help transform American education. The plan will provide a set of concrete goals that can inform state and local educational technology plans as well as inspire research, development, and innovation. A draft plan is expected in early 2010.




At NECC 2009, attendees gathered at the ISTE Leadership Symposium to give input into the development of the plan. Groups provided advice regarding the use of technology to address 5 key focus areas. Teams generated the five topics below.
